Products:Ocean-i MkIII Unit

The Ocean-i Sensor Package: MkIII

The new MkIII Ocean-i has been developed specifically for use in low-power battery-backed systems such as buoys and remote unattended stations where the only source of power is derived from solar or wind generators. It can interface with a wide range of RS232 instrumentation and comes complete with GPS for position fixing and a GPRS/GSM modem for remote telemetry.

Ocean-i MkIII uses standard Compact Flash Memory cards to store its data and operating parameters, using a Windows compatible file format so that the card may be removed from the system and the files read on any PC with a PCMCIA or CF interface.
